I have delivered on this bike for over 2600 miles on the odometer.
So that tells you that you can expect that much.
The brakes need replacing first with good pads, and adjusted for real use. Out of the box it will stop you good.
The tires are very soft rubber. Back tire balds quick. So I go thru tubes every month.
Electronics don't track battery well, there's probably an easy fix but you'll go miles before losing the first bar, I know when to head back.
So the front wheel came bent, which can be expected crammed into a box and shipped by ace Ventura. But it has remained solid. It's the back tire that has a couple spokes taking. If you put miles on your bike you know what I am talking about.
So this is the truth that this bike will do 2600 miles, as I have. It was painful getting to know her but she turned out to be a good bike.
I had issue with shipping but it was just before Christmas what do you expect.
There are things that look like shoddy build. But it has ridden with me for 4 months as a professional delivery driver. The back bunny is nice to put my food box/pizza bag thing on it and off I go earning more than what I paid.
Speaking of which, the extra battery is necessary for delivery drivers but it was expensive, overly engineered. But they do go for miles, and I barely pedal much to help squeeze out every watt.
But for anyone who doesn't ride professionally, it will last 2.6k miles if you maintain tubes and brakes. That isn't a typo.
The step thru makes it heavy but is necessary if you deliver and have to get off every 10 minutes.
It earned the 4 stars. Barely. But it did. Good value.
