How to Assemble
This short video will show you how to easily assemble your new electric bike. The video provides clear steps and helpful tips to assist you.
Please read our FAQs page to find out more.
How far can the Ranger eBike go on a single charge?
The Ranger offers up to 75 miles of range under ideal pedal-assist conditions. Actual range may vary depending on rider weight, terrain, speed, assist level, throttle use, weather, tire pressure, and riding habits. Hills, higher speeds, and frequent motor use can reduce overall range.
Are 26" × 4.0" fat tires good for pavement?
Yes. The Ranger's 26" × 4.0" fat tires provide added stability, grip, and cushioning on pavement, especially on rough or uneven roads. They also perform well on gravel, packed dirt, grass, and other mixed surfaces. Fat tires may have slightly more rolling resistance than narrower commuter tires, but motor assistance helps offset the additional effort.
Can the Ranger eBike handle steep hills?
Yes. The Ranger's 1500W peak motor delivers 80Nm of torque and is designed to handle inclines of up to 35% under suitable riding conditions. The strong low-speed torque helps provide extra support when starting uphill, climbing longer slopes, or carrying additional weight.
Can I ride the Ranger eBike in the rain?
The Ranger has an IPX5 water-resistance rating and is designed to handle splashes and light rain. However, avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain, deep water, or flooded roads, and never use high-pressure water when cleaning the bike. Dry the bike thoroughly before charging or storing it after a wet ride.
What happens if the Ranger battery runs out while riding?
The Ranger can still be pedaled if the battery runs out or the electrical system is turned off. Because the bike weighs approximately 80.46 lbs and uses wide fat tires, pedaling without motor assistance will require more effort than on a traditional bicycle. The Shimano 7-speed drivetrain lets you shift into a lighter gear to make pedaling easier.
Is the Ranger battery removable?
Yes. The Ranger features a removable 48V 13Ah battery that can be charged either on or off the bike. Simply remove the battery when you want to charge it indoors or store it separately, while the keyed locking system helps keep it securely mounted during your ride.
