Actbest Cores Step-Through ebike are built to the IPX5 water-resistant standard. IPX5 means that your bike is resistant to water splashes from any direction. This means it’s OK to ride your ebike in light rain. It won’t be harmed by spray from a wet road or raindrops. Your ebike is not intended to be exposed to prolonged rain, be submerged, or subjected to a pressurized spray. Don’t use a pressure washer or sprayer to clean your ebike.

Taking care of your ebike battery is an integral part of getting the most out of your Actbest ebike. Here are a few things to remember:
1. Charge your battery regularly to avoid fully draining your battery’s stored energy or voltage.
2. Use the right charger. Only use an Actbest branded and proper model charger (Be sure to place the charger brick on a flat, non-flammable surface like metal or concrete. The charger brick will conduct heat while charging.)
3. Avoid overcharging your ebike.
4. Avoid extreme temperatures. Store and charge the battery in a climate-controlled area, keeping it away from both extreme heat and cold.
5. Maintain the right level of charge. The battery should be stored at 75% charge to its health.
